Dynamite Blues Down At The Cabana
Friday 25th July will be a red-hot night down at Napier’s Cabana Club.
That is the night when Aotearoa’s hottest blues/rock band, BB & The Bullets will be playing there. It will be their first Hawkes Bay gig, and you will not want to miss it as they are becoming increasingly in demand and who knows how much longer it will be before their French label will want them to hop on a plane and play for all of their Northern Hemisphere followers.
At the Cabana BB & The Bullets will be playing the whole of their upcoming debut album, High Tide and a lot more besides. That album will be released on 12th September and their record label, Dixie Frog will be releasing it in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, U.S.A., Canada and Australia. Southbound Distribution will be making it available in NZ and you will be able to get High Tide in CD, Vinyl and digital formats.
BB & The Bullets have a “take no prisoners” approach to the blues. Guitarist and lead vocalist Brian Baker is one of the best you will ever hear in Aotearoa and his rhythm section consisting of Stu “The Glue” Duncan (bass) and Brad McMillan (drums) are one of the tightest you will ever see.
Tickets are just $20 at the door and the show kicks off at 8pm. The support band is AC/GC & The Rhythm Kings a delightful blues band from Waipukurau.
